Course Outline

Design a lean portfolio management approach that effectively aligns strategy, investment funding, and agile delivery approach.

NOTE: This will be a remote, virtual classroom course. Attendees must have internet and video conferencing capability to participate.

Taught by a SAFe SPCT, and leveraging Agile Rising’s background in remote learning and distributed SAFe planning, this course will give attendees the practical tools and techniques necessary to implement the Lean Portfolio Management functions of Strategy and Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations and Lean Governance.

Participants in the course will have the opportunity to capture the current and the future state of their portfolio with the Portfolio Canvas tool and identify important business initiatives for achieving the future state. Participants will be able to establish portfolio flow with the Portfolio Kanban and prioritize initiatives for maximum economic benefit. The course also provides insights on how to establish Value Stream Budgets and Lean Budget Guardrails and measure the Lean portfolio performance.

The class includes 2 days of instruction PLUS an optional follow-on workshop to plan out your organization's Lean Portfolio Management implementation.

If you must cancel your registration, full refunds will be issued up to 21 days before the event, less a $150 processing fee.  After that date, you may choose to receive a 50 percent refund or to move your registration to a future class. Student substitutions are accepted at any time up to the start of class. Agile Rising strives to make all of our classes guaranteed to run, but if Agile Rising is forced to cancel a class for any reason, your registration fee will be returned in full immediately.
