Joe is an enterprise change agent and adaptive servant leader with a track record of developing and maintaining positive relationships with executives, managers, peers, knowledge workers, stakeholders and customers. His areas of expertise and focus are in leadership and Agile frameworks to help identify and eliminate waste within the enterprise, improve teams in areas of Agile mindset and team building, build rapport with internal business teams, and deliver timely valuable services and products to customers.
Joe has been pivotal in the successful implementation of SAFe within large federal government enterprises, training knowledge workers and leaders, creating implementation plans, preparing for initial and subsequent ART launches, launching the ARTs, coaching ART execution, guiding Communities of Practice, and mentoring Release Train Engineers, Product Managers and other pivotal roles within the framework. Joe has experience working alongside executives to determine value streams, and assisting executives with how to align the entire enterprise with strategic themes and portfolio management, including determining and implementing relevant metrics & governance.
Joe is a U.S. Marine Corp officer (Ret.), with more than 20 years of leadership experience in Combat Arms and Combat Arms Support.
Most recently he has provided coaching and mentoring to leaders and portfolio level executives on a large SAFe implementation at the Federal Aviation Administration. He has experience at multiple Federal agencies and working with government contractors and vendors.
